Changing lives, one child at a time

Raising funds to support children in underserved communities throughout Jamaica with education, health, and opportunity.

About Us

A foundation built on purpose

876 Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization dedicated to raising funds to support children in underserved communities throughout Jamaica. Our work focuses on improving access to education, health and wellness resources, and other basic needs.

We partner with local organizations and community leaders to ensure support reaches those who need it most. Our goal is to create lasting, positive change for children and their families.

Our Mission

What drives us forward

“Our mission is dedicated to changing the lives of the disadvantaged children of Jamaica by providing them an opportunity for a better education.”

Education

Tuition, school supplies, uniforms, meals, and travel costs—removing every barrier to learning.

Community

Partnering with local schools and leaders to ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Opportunity

From primary school to university, opening doors that transform futures.

Our History

How it started

876 Kids Foundation was formed by a group of like-minded individuals united by a single purpose: help educate the children of Jamaica. Before the organization was officially registered, we worked together to raise funding to support individual students with school expenses—tuition, meals, travel costs, uniforms, and supplies.

We also helped fund schools with various needs including school supplies, sporting equipment, computer equipment, and much more. This work went on for many years before 876 Kids Foundation became a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization in October 2025.

The Foundation continues to support both individual students and selected schools going forward into the foreseeable future.

Lives we've touched

Jessie Brown at William Knibb Memorial High School
Featured Story

Jessie Brown

Jessie is a young man who matriculated from primary school to high school in the fall of 2025. He was brought up in a single parent home where his mother was frequently absent throughout his childhood. Given his living environment, he was unofficially adopted by a Good Samaritan who now looks out for his wellbeing.

His guardian reached out to the Foundation for help. Once we got involved, we were able to get Jessie into William Knibb Memorial High School. He is on the school's track team and has shown significant improvement in his academics. The Foundation continues to support Jessie with school uniforms, extra lessons, and more throughout his educational journey.

Daniel Town Infant & Primary School

The Foundation adopted this school in Daniel Town, Trelawny. Last August we hosted a Back-to-School Fun Day on the school grounds, providing backpacks filled with school supplies, dental hygiene items, and a day of bouncy houses, snow cones, games, and music for every student.

Hurricane Melissa Relief

When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica in late October 2025, the Foundation mobilized immediately. We collected donations of cash, food, clothing, and necessities from the public and shipped a full 40-foot container of relief supplies to Jamaica.

Falmouth All Age School

Over the past three years we helped their track team travel to Miami for the annual Miami Classic meet—securing transportation, meals, and running spikes so students could compete at their best. We also donated backpacks for the start of each school year.

Student Spotlight

Antione Mitchell

Antione is the first student we supported, starting in 9th grade at Cornwall College. Today he is in his third year of medical school at the University of the West Indies—Mona Campus, maintaining high grades and earning a place on the Dean’s List. Without the Foundation’s support, his educational journey might not have been possible.

Student Spotlight

Gemielia Bryant

Gemielia graduated from Westwood High School with Foundation support since the seventh grade. She is now a first-year student at The University of Technology in Kingston, pursuing her dream of becoming a Dentist—a dream that might have remained just that without our help.
